What do you all use for the antenna line that sometimes goes from the tail to the cockpit? I tried using some thin metal wire but in doesn’t get completely straight and has an unnatural “wave” to it.

Thanks again guys, I am just getting back into modeling seriously and never really learned a lot of the detail tricks when I was young. I would always just build the model, barely paint it, and call it done. Ohh, the memories. [8)]

Stretched sprue is a good choice. Heat a piece of the parts tree and pull it like taffy. Cut it to length.

You may also try guitar strings. They’re metal, sturdy, and can be easily painted by brush, air brush, or spray can. I have used diffrent size guitar strings before for antennas with good success.

Stretched sprue, Invisible thread, 2 lb. fishing line, all work well. The stretched sprue is the most fragile.
