This aircraft was designed as a Bomber/Destroyer type. .Armament was 2/37mm cannons, 2/50 and 2/30 cal machine guns. The forward firing cannons with a gunner was mounted in a forward compartment on each of the engine nacelles. The cannons when fired also had a tendency to fill the nacelles with smoke which made the gunners very unhappy. Although capable of aiming the cannons, the gunners primary purpose was to simply load the cannons with ammunition. Being a pusher prop type aircraft, fears for the gunners safety was also a major concern if a need to bail out and the props being located behind the nacells.
