Frank, you’re right the dot washes are very subtle, and are only really visible up close.
What I didn’t mention is that I did my usual overspray of very dilute Tamiya Buff over the upper surfaces to blend all the weathering in.This further tones down the effect of the washes.
SC, thanks for the compliment. It’s nice not having the pressure of worrying about screwing up a £25/$50 kit, which leaves you open to experiment.

This kit is as old as me, which is scary!
The RoG 110 can wait another month to be finished.
