Hi again guys… Yesterday I posted some pictures of my “what if” Australian Navy Harrier for the GB that I am a part of… Well, while I was doing that, I had another seperate idea of an Australian Navy Phantom… So while I was doing the Harrier, I decided to take a Phantom that I had done in Japanese markings, and re-spray it… I love Phantoms, and have always been interested in an Australian Navy that had more than just the Skyhawks… So this is what I came up with!..
“what if” Royal Australian Navy “RAN” F-4 Phantom II .
The tail art is an A U to represent Australia. And as its number is 664, I added a white six on the tail aswell as an Australian flag.

The Phantom looks good in RAN markings, Chris!!
[:O][wow] Chris!! You’re hooning along with the builds! I haven’t even decided what I’m going to build yet!
Great build though, looks great in RAN livery!
Cheers,
John
Thanks guys… I am on holidays at the momment, and I have decided to re-do some already made kits, so that is the hard part done… Did the spray yesterday, and decalled today… I couldnt find a “NAVY” decal to put on the back of it though…

Great what if!!! Keep up the good work. I am having heaps of trouble doing anything these days. Everything I touch turns out bad. But I will not give up. I am already building my next 2 kits.
Phabulous job on the Phantom. Thanx for sharing.
Good looking Phantom. Thanks for sharing.

A very smart looking F-4. Good looking paint too. Did you sand down the original paint or just go over it? Great job.
Eddie
Eddie, I completely sanded it all down and re-did it… Thanks for the comment, the paint was a flat white with grey over the top…
Here is a pic of how it was previously… It is the one at the back with the grey and brown Japanese scheme.

Two more question. What did you use to glue your canopy and did you remove it during the rework? Thanks.
