Fred-- I used Cottman Watercolors-- specifically Payne’s Grey. I did a thin wash over the lines…waited a bit, and used a Q-tip moistened with my mouth and lightly swabbed up the excess…very forgiving and if I make a mistake-- it all comes off nicely.

I’m amazed how fast most you guys can produce a finished model, though i shouldn’t be. I can’t produce so fast because I only get about an hour a day tpo work on my projects. This is due to work commitments and the family at home. I just started a Acc Min. TBF Avenger that will probably take me 6 months, at least, to finish. But I’m detailing it a lot and want to put it in a diorama as well.
