how do you advance in rank on the forum. I always see guys with a certain # of stars, and a rank, i was woundering how do you get that

Yup, if you want ranks and stars and all that, post a lot.
I don’t particularly care about the ranks and stars (yeah, the people who have them always say that, don’t they?), but I sure do enjoy participating here at FSM, and that enjoyable situation has naturally lead to a bunch of posts and stars and whatnot. (But NOT to a lot of completed models!)
Just have fun, ask as many questions as you can, and offer as much information as you can. Stars and ranks and all that business will come naturally.
