I was just wondering as I was in process of ordering/buying Tamiya 10ml 0r 23ml bottles.
Im new and no expert but 10ml in my experience should cover several 1/48 scale planes with Tamiya acrylic.
If your airbrushing, either would be plenty
It depends on the size of the plane and how many coats you put on. For a fighter, the above advice is good. If you are doing a 1:48 B-17 or something, one bottle might not be enough.
It’s a Tamiya 1:48 F4F. I do have a Paasche H on the way. Will have to practice with it a bit first.
One 10ml bottle of each color will be more than adequate for a 1/48 F4F.
Now like Don said above, if your doing a large aircraft say like a four engine bomber in a single color such as aluminum, the 23ml bottle is a good idea.
If the 23ml bottle is available get it. Its always good to have around and the price is better

And, Tamiya paints will last a very long time.
