I bought some flat base to mix with future to give my aircraft a dull finish. When I received it in the mail (I buy all my modeling stuff off the internet), and opened it up, I noticed that is it very thick. Thicker than Jell-o, but not a solid. I tried shaking it but nothing happened. Is it supposed to be thick like this? If so, do I thin it with something? Thanks.
If that’s the Tamiya X-21 then no thinning, just stir it up. You’ll have to experiment with it, somewhere between 5-10 parts Future to 1 part flat base.
You must eat really thin Jello! [;)]
Ok, thanks for your advice.
P.S. Everytime I make Jell-o it turns out wrong. I tried to do the thing where you put the Jell-o in a baking pan then cut it into shapes with cookie cutters like in the commericals with Bill Cosby, and it just fell apart.
