Another figure question.

Has anyone found a way to create realistic looking helmet netting (1/35 scale) for the U.S. M1 helmet? anyone help would be great.
Thanks

How about using medical gauze, it works pretty good for makin camo netting and etc.

Andrew

I’d go with old pantihose form your wife/girlfriend. Medical gauze would be too wide a mesh.

Agree 100% with AJ … works great !!!

never tried it but aj’s idea is what i’d go with

I don’t know if anyone else has ever tried this , but I once used the screen comonly found in kitchen facet and it seemed to be about the right scale , you’ll need to do a little forming but it works , also pantyhose works real good but I see someone else said that .

Thanks everyone for the tips

I’ve used that little netting that you get when you go a wedding. It’s the stuff that the bird seed or rice is wrapped in. The holes are a little big but I thing it look real good.

Sherman…heres one for you,the fibre glass screening used for enclosed patio its soft and the pattern should fit the scale perfect, try home depot…good luck Alan
