The equipment in this dio are my favorite ones. Again, I’m still struggling to get the figures to look descent enough. I’m still growing.

Nice work.
Nice one!
Actually I think your figures look good. The close-up of the guy on the track is nicely done. I also think (based on the lighting and shot) you had a nice subtle touch to the shadowing. This is my biggest complaint of most people who do figures. They think that all shadows should come from a hard source light that is directly above the figure when in reality that is rarely the case.
The guy does look a bit uncomfortable!
Good Job!
Hi there
Great work Tiking, looks really nice.
Keep well, keep safe
Thanks. I’ve kinda stopped doing figure modelling at the moment due to my inexperience. I’ll get back on track when I feel courageous enough. I just have to keep practicing. I’ve got some other armor and radar models to model and I am eager to get started on them. Another kitbash/scratchbuilt model.
BTW, the M113 is pulling a container dolly based on a danish prototype. The container in the dio is removable. The only thing supporting the container is,of course the front and rear dolly.
Sounds like me when it comes to figures Tiking … never did quite get the hang of them.
Nice looking work on your dio though … interesting subject vehicle.
I guess there is a limit to everything uh?
Great work Tiking. The best route to better figs is to keep doing them. With practice comes results. Nice layout.
BTW, Shermanfreak could do figures…but who wants to stand around a burning hulk? so why bother? [}:)][;)][:p]
Mike
Weiner and marshmallow roast … duh.
Sweet!
Hey, Robert, which ones are the weiners and which are the marshmallows? What about s’mores?

Thanks guys. I’ll keep at it but I’m more involve in building my armor units and doing ground work.
BTW, someone asked me to do an article on my ground work. I think ground work is ground, not that complicated, then again…
Tiking
Wow Great Job
Much appreciated Sled71
Nice work! Kick Ass!
What do you use for you background photos? I have been stuck using some large photographs, but I’m looking for some panoramic fold outs (looks like what you are using there), can you point in a direction to get one?
keep it up, thanks for sharing,
Excellent job!!
Muzzleflash - The background was painted by a artist friend 9 years ago. He one piece of a continious background he did for me. The background was meant for my model railroad I had at the time.
18co thanks for the comments.
Common now. That is one fine work you’ve got there. The figures look ok.
Thanks Dwight. The figures have a little to be desired but it’s my second try. I don not like figure painting. I think it’s a little more difficult then vehicle modelling.
Looks like you’re getting there, Tiking. Great work. The vehicles are really great looking and I like your weathering! The base looks peachy too. Maybe one little comment about one of the figures: one of the seated soldier looks like he’s sitting just on the tip of his bum… Does not look comfy at all. Next time, remove a bit of his bum so that it looks like there 's some weight on him. Other than that, perfect! Keep up the good work.
