ok guys and gals what do you use for a temporay fix for your canopy when you go to paint it with your airbrush. i usally paint it by hand brush but to me the color of the canopy turns out differnt from when you airbursh the rest of the plane.so what do you ues a tempory fix when you airbush your model??[:D]
I’ve found that airbushing the canopy works real good. But i guess if you really like to brush paint, thin it down real good and paint like 20 coats.
I’m not sure what you mean by “temporary fix”. Do you mean putting the canopy on the aircraft in such a way that it could be easily removed ? If so, why would you want to do that ?

See Swanny’s tip page for masking canopies. You first coat with Future, then paint the interior color and finally the exterior. The interior colour acts as a primer. I haven’t noticed a color change when I do it this way.

Good luck!
