ANIGRAND CRAFTSWORK RESIN MODEL KITS?

Hi All,

Just wondering if anyone has any experience with any of the Anigrand Resin kits. I posted the link below if anyone is interested. They are expensive but they have very rare and hard to find kits. I was just wondering if the quality is any indication of price if you know what I mean?

I built the Anigrand 1/72 Atlas D, ICBM a little over a year ago. It was a very difficult build, but turned out to be a very nice, unique model. See this site for a build summary. http://www.arcforums.com/forums/air/index.php?showtopic=160469&hl=Atlas+F

I am in the process of building the Anigrand 1/72 Chance Vought F7U-1 Cutlass and have it almost finished. There were a few pin holes to fill and the cockpit is VERY basic, but it goes together well, much easier than the Atlas.

I also have the 1/72 Anigrand Lockheed C-141A Starlifter. I have looked the kit over fairly closely, but have not started it as yet. It looks accurate, overall, but I haven’t measured various parts. I dry fitted the major pieces together and they seem to fit well. It also has metal landgear struts and a moderately detailed cockpit to include pilot, copilot, navigator and flight engineer stations.

The Anigrand kits in general, are pretty expensive and you have to want a particular model rather badly to pay that much. Most of their kits are not available from any other manufacturers.

I have the Bell HSL-1 and intend to start building it soon for the anti-sub group build. I don’t know how it all goes together but the parts are crisp and well cast. Not much interior detail though.

I intend to buy some of their other kits eventually.

I’ve not built any of the kits but modelingmadness.com has quite a few reviews on the kits.
