I will hazard a guess that the molds will be purchased, as will the branding, and another company will spin up (pun intended) production again under the Andrea name. I understand how Fernando and Carlos feel, but I also disagree with their core sentiment that the market is shrinking. Andrea’s market share certainly shrank, especially in the last 5 years. Enthusiasm for figures and figure modeling hasn’t been higher. Where and how modelers are getting their figures has changed drastically. The entire landscape has been reshaped by 3D-printing. It is a time of upheaval in that end of the market, and it’s going to take a while before it settles out. Needless to say, I’m sorry to see Andrea go. It’s been a stalwart of figure modeling for decades, and produced some of the most beautiful models to be kitted.

My sentiments exactly. You either adapt or become obsolete/insignificant.
