I built this not long after R2 rereleased the old AMT kit.
It was a very nice nostalgic build. Straight from the box, no airbrush, filling, decals, aftermarket stuff.
I did modify the shape of Spock’s manpurse and paint it to look like a tricorder

A very colorful and attractive build.
A shame similar scale styrene kits of the other crew members were never issued; I didn’t care to work on the vinyl kits.

Very cool! I’ve seen photos of the kit in books on Trek collectables for years but I think this is the first one I’ve seen built up, great job!
