Has anyone else heard that AMT has been sold ??? I heard from a relable source the transaction has either already occured or is in the works at this time.

Whats your relable source ?
According to my distributors, the transaction has been completed. AMT was under contract to release some model kits for the remainder of the '07 year and some for '08. From what I have heard so far from my distributors is that AMT will still be producing kits, at least for awhile. Just like Revell will even though they have just been acquired by Hobbico.

now if only they had a way to dig really deep and re-issue a few more kits
