Looks like AMT will release an International Scout in Nov. Anyone know if this is the old ERTL tooling?
I’m certain that it is. No reason to retool, the Ertl kit is great!
Yup, The Ertl Scout was a great kit. I built it when I was in my early teens, hand-painted the body, etc. Would look pretty painful now but it was one of my favourites at the time. I remember how solid a piece it was. Always wanted to re-do it, and now’s my chance! I’m looking forward to it; just glad I didn’t fork out the $$ on eBay!
