Hi all, this is my first venture into a sci-fi subject. Erm, well, I’m not sure if it should be considered sci-fi at this point as you’ll soon see what I mean.
This is the AMT AT-AT. Kit’s not too bad, the only problem I saw, and that I didn’t correct, was that the legs are too close together. This thing would be tripping over itself if it could really move. Other than that, it was a simple build. I had intended to paint it in a German world war II scheme but thought better of it for reasons that still aren’t clear to me. Oh well, I think its some what fitting in a Soviet scheme any how. I mean, nothing says ‘evil empire’ quite like this.
I plan on creating a small diorama but I haven’t made up my mind as to its subject yet. It’ll either be a 1946 type scenario of the Soviets taking the rest of western Europe or something like a battle of Kursk scene.
Sorry for the nasty pics but I don’t really have a decent set up. I’ll try to take better pics as the idea progresses. I’m slowed down these days by the birth of my son so building is very sluggish.
