Am's B-25D Finished, for our Dutch friends!

What a great kit. AM does good stuff. However every kit has room for improvement. I added a Eduard Zoom PE IP and seat belts, True Details resin wheels, and for some real variety I used EagleCals 320 (Dutch) Squadron decal. However I used the decals for the highest missioned plane, but wanted to build her early in her career, so she only has 10 missions showing.

Tim, looks pretty good to me! One suggestion I’d like to make is that the control surfaces look too light, especially since you’re depicting a “fresh” plane. I too have a B-25 D in the stash, this makes me want to crack it out!!!

Nice job Tim.

Yes very nice Tim. I second the comment about the control surfaces. Love the overall look, the weathering, exhaust staining. Very sweet.

Any chance of some closeups of the cockpit?

…Guy

Yea, I figured I lightened to control surfaces too much when I did it, I mixed Light Gray into some OD.

Not much chance of getting a closeup of the cockpit. Too much dust on the inside of the windows.

Nice one Tim! Good job on the control surfaces, and often overlooked detail. Makes me want to break out my Doolittle Raider!

Well done Tim. Looks real good from here.

Regards, Rick

Tim. Looks good. One small point IMO…masking tape would have given you a neater contrast bbetween the underside and the topside. Did you do that freehand ?

Nice work there. She turned out well. I did AM’s strafing B-25. They are excellent kits.

Andy

nice choice of nose art, Tim! I’ve never seen a B-25 in trhose markings…great unique choice for your build!

Sorta, I originally did it with tape, but my references showed these birds and a very uneven demarcation line so I freehanded the line using my taped line a center point.
