Talk about inspiring! If you’ll allow me a moment to gush about your work…
Your KV, and to an even greater extent, the T34 you did for the Armor Interiors GB, are without a doubt two of the best builds I can point to, anywhere. That T34 just blew me away. Just flat floored me.
This is why I build models. The attention to the tiny little individual details that can be seen in some people’s builds is often just unbelievable. My build for the Armor Interiors GB isn’t going to look anywhere near that precisely-built, that well-detailed, or that well-researched. I spent ten years away from this hobby, and then one day while I was web-surfing I saw a picture of a build that was a lot like your T34, only not as well put together, and BAM! I was hooked again. Within a month I had a whole new workshop up & running. That’s what I call inspiration. I’ve been doing this for a while now, and I can honestly say that I aspire to build any that looks as good as that T34.
And to take gold at your first show…well, it’s not surprising after seeing those builds. Impressive and inspiring, yes - but not surprising.
