AMPS East meeting time?

When are we all getting together “officially” at AMPS? I know that a lot of us recognize each other, but for new people coming that don’t know what all of our ugly mugs look like it might be good to set a time. Say high noon in the room the seminars are taking place in? Looks like there’s a break in the action for that hour while everyone scrounges food.

Hey, speaking of food, it was pretty lacking last year - any of you guys find someplace nearby to round up some grub?

BTW, I look a lot like the guy in the avatar there. A LOT like that guy. [swg]

As I said in the other thread, I am sure we will have an announcement made and gather around noon like last year!

As far as food…they did sell sandwich and chips last year. TOOO little time to run off for a few hours and eat…then again, I can live off the fat of the land![:O]

Avaitar…I guess I look like mine when I am angry or drop that small part on the floor!

I am a runner for the judges from 10:30 to 12 so noon is good for me too.

I wish you guys were’nt halfway across the country. Does “AMPS” ever have their contest in the middle of the country?

Doc - I believe that AMPS national level contest is in Indiana every year. April, I think?

Just got word last night, I have a 12:30 judging assignment so I’ll have to meet, eat and run.

Dupes - Nope…it is in Indiana this coming year, 2010, it was at Aberdeen PG in Maryland this year…I was there. In 2011 I think it will be in Virginia.

There is an AMPS show in TX. Not sure of the dates.

Ahhh, I knew it moved to Maryland this year…but was under the impression that was a one-time deal.

Does it ever come a bit more northeast?

GAAAAAHHHHH!!! I’m soooo green with envy![^] Its been two years since I was at the IPMS Nats and reading all of this is killing me![xx(] Not just because of all the armor stuff you’ll get to experience, but also hanging out with other forum members!

The only thing else I can say is…bring back lots of pics!!

Wish I could meet you guys at AMPS East, but that’s too much of a distance for me. I will however be attending AMPS International next year in Indiana. So maybe I’ll see some fellow modelers there…hopefully.[:)]
