Amour for armor

Its because of the light...Its the normal German Panzergrey…

Wow is all I can say. Your dio’s are the bomb. I just love them. You outdone me for shure. Nice job on everything. Also I just love your weathering, but some of your dios are plain and they don’t have any people in them, just the tank. That is only on some. O ther ones are just awsome!!!

Fantastic!! I love the Tiger dio

An astonishing body of work, Nord. How many years have you been modelling? I hope to have a collection half that size one day.

Excellent stuff. Can’t pick a favourite; perhaps the Sherman/ambush dio.

A couple of years…maybe 2-3…

You are all welcome to post your work in this thread!

Nord,

There’s a gallery for pics maintained in the General Discussion or OE areas (can’t remember which off the top of my head) and keeping one thread here for all the pics is a great idea but would be a bandwidth strain for many, including FSM. I think that’s why you don’t see others posting their pics here. I at least assumed this thread was for showcasing your own 1/35 collection and a very impressive one it is. [:D]

Yes thats right…It was my intension to view my collection here, but It would be fun if more happy modeler did the same …So post em here!

Nord

Nord,

It’s not unusual. Threads usually don’t run for long periods of time as people have nothing new to add…most here just post new threads for whatever they are working on instead of keeping them together in on thread. It’s nothing against this thread or your efforts, just the way things generally work here.

ahh ok

More action in this thread!

Welcome Nord,

Awesome work you have there. The dioramas really add to the effect of the armor and make it stand out. Did you purchase the buildings or make them yourself?
Your work is very nice but I have a question about your King Tiger. You said that you used a cog wheel to apply the milliput zimmerit. Is that a pattern that was used by the Axis, 'cause I’ve never seen it before in field pictures. It looks sloped, but that could just be the lighting. I know that the Germans would sometimes apply an undercoat of zimmerit that looked similar to that and then later apply the raked pattern. Just curious.

Okieboy

Stunning, simply stunning. That is quite the body of work you have there, Nord. Some truly amazing examples to gawk at. Thanks for sharing them with us.

Man, you have been busy for 2-3 years. Beautiful stuff and thanks for sharing.
I like the way you photograph in front of live backrounds, nice touch.
Welcome by the way…

Thanx guys, I have put some work into this hobby…I`ll try to build all tanks in ww2…

I buy houses and stuff, and build the rest…

Nord,

I don’t know how I missed this thread, but let me say, what an impressive collection. I spent time last night and this morning looking through all the pics. Really nice work. Very nice indeed. I can’t offer criticism on a person’s work that is head and shoulders above me. Please keep the pics comming. Thanks for sharing.

Thanx my friend,

I`m very happy to hear that U took time to watch all my pics…and liked them!

Thanx again!

Wow, I don’t really know what kind of comment to give you! The posted pics are nothing short of works of art. The finish and weathering is done extremely well, so much so that these don’t look like models at all, but the real thing!
Superb!

Nord,

If you get time, check out the Tiger Group Build in this forum. We’d love to have you.
