AMERICAN WW2 M22 LOCUST

hello armour buddies. just one thing i would like to ask does anyone know if you can get a model of a m22 locust…used for airbourne support only once with british airbourne in 1945…my aim is to get models of every tank in ww2…regards jazz[?][:p][:p]

[:)]No,but I want one. Lets hope we get some help?..Kenny

In 1/35th, the M22 was recently built up by Steve Zaloga in the Feb/Mar 05 issue of Miltary Modelling. He used a pre-production hull from Commanders Series (which has shelved the project). Steve used this hull as the basis for his build. You may be in for a wait if you want something 1/35.

(is your collection going to be in 1/35th? Man, that’s one crazy project!)

yeah it is 1/35th ive been working on it for 20 years now i believe it is coming to a end just a few more but this locust is a real problem…its the smallest light tank made in ww2…regards jazz

there was an old resin kit of the baby sherman

no wonder Commanders Series shelved it , the pre prod wasnt too good in Zalogas build

the smallest light tank from WW2 could have been the Tetrach, Panzer 1, M1Cavalry combat car,
but the one i would think of the smallest would be Russian (T-40) or Japanese

i think u might be right man regaeds jazz

My 1/35 scale Fine Molds Japanese Type 94 “TK” light tank has an overall hull size that is smaller than my 1/72 scale Abrams kit, it is taller though.

[:D] And it fits nicly on the back of a M4A2 Sherman

i dont know which one is smallest but theses are the dimentions of the locust length…3.93m or12ft/11in…width2.16m or 7 ft1 inch…height 1.82m or 6 ft 1 inch regards jazz
