This question concerns the interior colors for American “open-topped” AFVs in WWII.
Since they did not have a “roof” were the interiors still painted white, or light colors? Or were they OD or a darker color?
All help greatly appreciated.

Areas under the open turret or top were the same color as the hull, usually OD. Areas not exposed, such as driver’s area on an M10, M36, etc. were semi-gloss white. Vheicle that were fully open, like an M3 halftrack were all OD, inside and out.
