I am thinking of building a Griffon powered P-51D in 1/48 and cant seem to find the 5 bladed prop for it. Does anyone know if there is an aftermarket one out there ? I cant find one, been looking all morning.
Randy- Sorry mate, I have never seen an AM five-blade prop suitable for a Griffon-powered bird. Another option might be to find someone who has built Airfix’s Seafire 46/47 with the contra-rotating prop assy, as there is also a five-blade setup in the box from the Spitfire 22/24 boxing of the kit. Sorry but I already gave mine away a while back to someone else else doing the same thing, otherwise it would be yours.

Frank I hadnt thought of the Red Baron as it had a contra prop on it, I have thought of Precious Metal though. I am not really sure at this point all I know is the P-51 and the Mk XIVe Spitfires look so cool swingin 5 blades and I wanna build them [cwby] Cause I want to is the best excuse I can come up with. [:P]
