I know I just posted but one more thing. I am looking for any WW I uboat kits out there and/or plans/blueprints to make my own. Any help/knowledge would be greatly appreciated.

Tauro makes very very nice (and expensive) mixed media (plastic, resin, metal) ww1 subs
The Mirage kits of the Sep, Orzel, and Sokol represent the state of the submarine art in the years leading to WWII. The ORP Sep and ORP Orzel were built for the Polish Navy in the Netherlands. Both are of mid-to-late 1930s vintage. The ORP Sokol was a former Royal Navy submarine of the “U” class. It too was of the same vintage.
The German Type II submarines were the second of the rebirth of the German submarine force after they decided to ignore the Treaty of Versailles. The first (Type I) was largely sold to foreign customers. The Type II was for domestic use and figured heavily in the KM submarine training force. Again they are mid-to-late 30s.
The best WWI vintage submarine is probably the Blue Water Navy (now Yankee Modelworks) U-34 in 1:350 scale (resin & brass) . This represents the submarine with the all-time most successful record of tonnage sunk.
There are several large-scale and very esoteric kits of Holland-type subs from the years prior to WWI.
