PPS, I am 73yrs old and whilst my hands are still very steady my eyes are not good.This will be the last detailed model I will build.

Looks fantastic. For all their popularity, we really don’t see too many of these Academy Tigers actually built up.
That’s an outstanding Tiger I and one of the best looking Winter whitewashes that I’ve ever seen. You should definitely consider building 1/16 if your hands are unsteady.
I’m only 35 and I love the the big scale stuff.

Kudos to you for your tigers they look great! I think it’s great that your still building and hope I’ll still be anywhere close to as good at 73, I’m 46 now and almost feel like I should quit because I can’t see what I’m doing half the time. Seems like the BI part of my bifocals isn’t quite as big as it needs to be [:D] Anyway Sweet Tigers for sure!!!

What am I doing wrong in photobucket?. When I upload pics photobucket states that all above 1mg will be re-sized, OK; why then when I post the pics some are small and some are large. Help needed!.
Hey everyone, When I explained that my eyes were not so good, I meant that they were not good enough for fine painting, picking out and such. I still intend to carry on building. Also I will still visit this Forum…Kenny
This is the first time I have ever seen a fresh winter paint Tiger fully dressed up.
Very interesting even just to look at the big pictures.
The painting and weathering looks so natural. I guess they looked like that during the war.
