almost done, here are the pictures of ' em ( 6 )

I started a M24 Chaffee and I’m almost done with it (Italeri ) it’s an ok build, a bit fast but still cool.
I also picked up and started a brail scale Revell StuG 40 Ausf G, very neat little build thus far, should be a cool build as well?

I’ll get pics up soon, these will probably be my last projects for a year as my but will be in a sand box for a spell (wink wink ).

great bud… get some pics up and lets have a looksy…

Good luck with that sand castle…

Return safe “from the beach”! (wink)

I’d be real keen to see pics of your Chaffee, Redleg, and any comments you might have on it. I just bought one for my Apprentice as his first serious kit, (he has to work it off!) so I’m glad to hear it is alright.

Good luck

Can’t wait to see the pictures Jesse.

Take care in the sand and don’t get any in your skivvies. LOL

great
can’t wait to see the pics

M24? I have never seen a model of an M24 Chaffee. Please post pics.

Can’t wait to see the pics as well, especially of the Braille Scale Stug. I’m thinking of adding that to my next “to get” list.

Good luck in the sandbox, and don’t let any of those bullies try to kick sand in your face! [;)] [8D]

the sug is almost done, and the m-24 is all but weathered, pics soon guys, ( I have a 4 day weekend!!! woohoooooo!!!).

Looking forward to the pix!

Dwight, you’ve never seen Italeri’s M-24? They just released a slighty changed version, too. I believe the newer release represents an earlier Chaffee, used in WWII.
Not a bad little kit!
I have one almost ready for paint, and another untouched in the closet.

I want some pics!

Okay, here’s what you do. fill a tackle box with a hobby knife, some glue, putty, paints sheet styrene and what ever else you need. The tackle box can go with your section equipment, or where ever (it’s a box of tools… right?) Have your wife mail you a few kits (and some Jack Daniels in a mouthwash bottle!!). That way, on your off duty hours you’ll have something to do besides look at camels.
Won’t be joining you this rotation, we were taken off alert. (gives me a bit more time to train up as a Chief). We’ll see what the politicians have for us next year.

Ron

Jesse; our thoughts and prayers will be with you for a safe and speedy return to Deutchland! Be careful in the sandbox! Can’t tell what kind of critters might be buried out there!

Will you be needing another apprentice soon or any time in the future? [:D]

I just put a wash on the Chaffee so it’ll maybe be ready tommorrow morning sometime and I also finnished my brail scale StuG 40 with a nice lil’ camo pattern to it ( fun build but it went to fast once I got past the individual track links { on the brail }).

enjoy guys, let me know what you think (I still have a bit of shine to flatten out but I figured post’em up to see what you guys think.

O yeah, they are out of the box cept for a small add on of some tissue paper tarp action on the Chaffee’s rear tray. and both are hand painted and slightly weathered in pastels.

Redleg!
the long awaited pictures!
hand painted, you say !?!? [:0]
“WOW” i say!
looks good!

are you going to put skirts on the Stug?
once it is flattened a bit, it will be right on!

good luck and be careful on the beach.
can we ship you care packages?

ed.

Very Nice!
I just got my first braille scale and it looks like its going to be fun

Those are both looking good Jessie! Show us again after the finishing touches!!
