Very nice work!
Was that P-38 in FSM? I recall seeing one in that same scheme and markings.

Very nice too!
wow good job on all of them,
my fave is the jug…going to buy one very very soon.
chopper the one that was in FSM, I beleive had the green cowls maybe I’m wrong.
You can’t see them in the picture but I also added 3 shot bazooka tubes to each side of the center nacelle, A version of this squadrons markings are in the P-38 in action book.
Thanks for the praise guys, been out of the loop for awhile and just getting back in, the 262 is my first kit since coming back. JOHN
Nice job, John. The decals on the P-38 looks like they must have been a bear to apply. The tail boom/nacelle seam on that kit can be real tricky, and yours looks great. The only thing I didn’t like about that kit was the prop attachment.
Nice paint jobs on them all.
Again, great work, John. Thats quite a collection you have there. I love the colors on that P-47D. Now whose signature was it that had a similar scheme?
Pix you are right about the decals. The dragon tails are 7 pieces for each side of each boom (4 Sides) I’m guessing but I think it took me about 4 hours to decal that thing. I saw the Aeromaster decals for it and knew I had to build that one. Next one I do is with the green front nacelles. Thanks all for the comments and praise makes me think I know what I’m doing. JOHN
Good looking stuff! I can attest to the PITA nature of those decals for the Lightning, almost bounced mine off the wall a few times. But self control got the better of me.
That would be me![:D]
Nice work, John. What did you use for the rudder color on your Thunderbolt? I have one currently on my shelf right now that’s going to have that particular color scheme. Regards. - Ed
Ed I mixed dark sea blue and white until it looked right. THought the 2 tone blue was pretty cool. Picked Fireball because of the flames. JOHN
great work there John, thanks for sharing.
Greg
Excellent work! How do you guys do it? It takes me nearly a year to finish a model! And look you have three.
Good going, and thanks for sharing
