Alfred Regeniter's StuG III

Does anyone here know something about StuG ace Alfred Regeniter and his StuG III?

I just got a Dragon’s StuG III Ausf. G and wanted to model it as Regeniter’s, but I’m not sure if his was a G. Any extra info on the StuG is very welcomed.

Hmmmmmmm…know what unit he was with?

Brigade 276, 3º Pz Army, based in Lithuania in 1944 if I’m not mistaken… He was the commander of a StuG company, as Leutenant.

By 1944 I would think that most StuG units were in G’s…however, there is an early and a late variant, and then there is the whole issue of the type of mantlet used…

I’ve been hearing to some podcasts of his diaries… Looks like he has the G, early version… doesn’t specify any kind of mantlet…

and then, I’d still need to know markings in the specific StuG… as far as I know, Regeniter’s tank had 18 white strips in the gun by 1945, when it was destroyed.
