Are they just a badger 200 kinda look like it the price is about the same as well

A very brief review HERE. Wonder If Badger makes them for Alclad though the ‘Precise’ one looks a little different.
Badger makes 2 distinctive different single action airbrushes and calls them both 200.
The old style Badger 200 is based on the classic 100 series design.
The new head Badger 200NH is based on the cheaper 155/105 series.
The Alclad web site does not provide any specific. Except that the nozzle sizes of 0.5 mm and 0.3 mm are smaller than the Badger offers of 0.76 mm (NH) and 0.5 mm (OS).
We don’t know what they are until someone do a Don Wheeler style review.

I doubt that Alclad will send him the review samples. But you never know.
The Accurate looks surprisingly similar to my “old” Badger 200, but as I’m starting to use Alclad more I could be tempted when they start to drop in price

There are 2 ducks, OS and NH. The question is which is which duck?
In addition, the Alclad ALC-9220 precision model does not look like any of the old duck in appearance. [;)]

Well Seeing how my birthday is tomorrow I went and got one for myself.
Now my main Air brush is a Aztek I like it, it doesn’t give me too much trouble.
With that in mind Don’t expect too much of a review, But I.ll take pictures and let you decide if it’s just a copy of the Badger 200 or not.
Hopefully I will get it by Wednesday.
Which model did you purchase? The 9200 Accurate or the 9220 Precise? How did you make the decision?
Whichever model you get, can you measure the nozzle size for the review?
I got the 69 dollar one so I guess the 9200, Don’t think I’ll ever do technical drawing type work, So the other would have been overkill, plus I’m a cheap bastard anyhow.
And having never cared about the size of the opening ( I only care if the paint comes out) how do you measure the nozzle size
The 9200 is advertised as having a 0.5 mm nozzle, the 9220 as having a 0.3 mm nozzle. I think to measure the actual orifice size you’d need an optical magnifier with a graduated reticle - a stereo microscope with a graduated reticle eyepiece would be just great.
We are not looking for scientific measurement up to 2, 3 decimal places. Line a metric ruler with millimeter gradings against the nozzle openning, you can easy tell whether it is more like 3/4 or half or 1/3 of a mm. Yours should be a half mm one. If you take a close up picture of the needle, you can see if it is a double cone or fine single tappered needle.
If Badger is the supplier of these Alclad airbrushes, I am curious about what they do with the 9220 precise model. Badger never made a single action with 0.3 mm nozzle.
Well checked the tracking update, and I’ll get it tomorrow for sure, bad thing is my work week starts on Wednesday so I won’t get to play with it too much. Good thing I’ll be able to get some batteries for my camera so at least it wont die on me in the middle of the shoot.
Hi from what im looking at here with the review is Model no 9220 Precise is the Badger Model 200-20 Detail Airbrush with the old style Badger head with a fine needle…Model 9200 Accurate which is Badger NH 200 standard with Badger Patriot style medium head and needle
The Alclad site states that the nozzle of their 9220 and 9200 airbrush are 0.3 and 0.5 mm respectively. On the other hand, the Badger old style and new head are 0.5 and 0.76 mm.
Can you provide the link to the review you saw that shows the inside of these airbrushes. The IPMS/USA review does not show any nozzle or needle picture and was more like a free ad for Alclad than a review.
Don Wheeler has reviews of both the 200OS and 200NH. He discussed a little trick on how to flush the old style nozzle. It should also work with the 9220 if it IS the old style Badger 200.

I’m not aware of nozzle sizes of the respective airbrushes but if you look at THIS PAGE on the Badger site you can see the similarity between Alcads’ airbrushes and the Badger 200NH and the Badger 200-20 (Detail brush). They sure look the same. Don doesn’t (yet) have a review of the 200-20.
Hi Keilau the review is the Ipms one where theres a pic of the two airbrushes side by side…you can see by the design of the heads they are the old and new style Badger 200 models…the one wth the old style head has to the rubber rings on the rear of the body of the Badger 200-20
