Thank you for that very detailed, and informative explanation of the markings for this plane. Unfortunately, Eduard didn’t supply much info on this scheme. You’ve gone a loooong way in rectifying that omission.[:D]

I like the lozenge lower wing on yours…very interesting!

I am just beginning to model WWI planes, and my reference library is rather small, so I appreciate the clarification.

Super nice job on your Albatros. I know the thread is 3 years old, but I just stumbled on your beautiful model while doing some research on the same scheme. I am currently building a 1/6 scale radio control D.III, and will be using your work as a reference. Thanks!
