Ok for all the folks that are interested. Alamo Squadron is holding the 2016 Modelling Event in San Antonio, Tx. Since I have dealt with “misinformation ministers” in the past and hate to give out false info so here is the website for further information : www.alamosquadron.com . Well hey Matt! I plan on being there myself. I’m going to bring the only completed thing I have and thats my Bf109. Will have to leave out that morning I’m sure as my dogs are a real chore for anybody outside of us to keep up with!

San Antonio isn’t too far from Austin, so I might be there. I don’t know what I would bring yet. I hope I can make it, since I couldn’t go to the Austin IMPS Show this past Fall. [:$] However, I entered by proxy, and actually won a couple awards too.

I may drop by from Longview (though it’s a bit far to drive) and make it a weekend as I’ve never visited the Alamo.

I’ll be bringing cash. [:D]

Well I managed to make it after all. Nice show. Great Vendors, though I didn’t take home nearly as many kits as I expected (only 3). Of course this is the first IPMS Show that I actually went to, but not the first show that I entered. [whstl] Jimmy Doolittle’s Copilot was there, as well as some of the original members on the Red Tails, which were certainly the highlights.

You know I was all hyped up about this show and I’m not going to complain a whole lot but I’ve been going to GM training alot trying to get my Chevrolet Master status and have been missing alot of work in order to attend the Dallas, Houston and now Oklahoma training centers. Ended up having to work Saturday to make up time lost at the dealer. Glad to see that you made it SuperNova. I am now planning the Eagle Quest in Grapevine on June 22. Nothings gonna stop me from that one. Gonna take some bucks to that one.
