Airplane display stands?

Hello all-

I was wondering if there is somewhere online I can buy display stands so I can show my models in flight?

I don’t know of any places that make stands, there probably are some but I just don’t know of any. However if you look in the yellow pages under “Plastics” for distributors in your area, they will usually have a good selection of rods and shapes made of clear acrylic that could be used to make a display stand.

Haven’t tried it myself, so can’t vouch for it personally. But it seems to fit the bill! Good Luck, and let us know what you end up using and how it works out!!

i just bought an Academy display stand for 1/72 scale aircraft at my usual hobby shop, for about US$3. i used it to display my 1/48 scale Longbow in flight… haha… the chopper is a bit heavy, but the stand’ll hold.
