Any one models them…been a warmonger lol myself never thought of one untill I saw some nice decorative schemes.
Some of them snaptite kind of but still nice.
I do… If you ever want to try one, I’d recommend Hasegawa’s 1/200 range. So well enginered you can build/paint/decal them in sub-sections (wings, fuselage, engines, undercarriage) before final assembly with PVA glue. They have most of the main players in the field, except the larger Airbus planes…[V]
A bit more intricate are Revell’s 1/144 models such as Airbus A330/A340, B747-400, Beluga, Fokker 100, RJ85, 737 last generation. Their older kits are not as good (A300, A310).
Stay away from Heller’s 1/125 kits and Airfix’s 1/144 until you get a bit more experience.
As far as liveries, there’s never been any better time to model airliners…! Check this site to know what’s available!
Oh, by the way, we gonna start a Concorde/SST group build in December… Care to join in?
thanks for the invitation. thats polite of you. …how group modelling actually works, everyone builds his own and then “compete” or like Airbus assembly each member makes his part and join all of them to one?
Well, this would actually be my first group build… I’m more interested in sharing experiences during the building, detailing (if any), painting and decalling… We’ll start early in December.
