A bit OT & something for the old “odds & ends”, but I couldn’t resist posting;
Iran are apparently trying to in-house design an ejection seat & have grafted the front of a Saeqeh onto the tail of a Tu-154 for testing[:|] - I hope the Tupolev has a strong tail!

I think Eddie would take it on step further and make a Mistel out of it, where the tailplane+F-5 cockpit breaks off to glide to earth whilst the Tupolev plummets into its target…
I was thinking that when I first saw these pictures - part finished & waiting for completion because they can’t decided on an F-5 or Saeqeh tail…
Aparently that 'well-known Austrian" had an armoured seat on his personal FW200 Condor that could be ejected through the cabin floor & would deploy a parachute…
Imagine what might have happened if he’d reached for the seat recliner & pulled the wrong lever…
Hmmmmmmm…a Tu-154 is available in 1/144 as is an F-5 E .[:O]
