Airfix’s Illustrious carrier. Is this kit a real filler-queen?
Reading posts on other fora from those who have the kit in their hands seems to suggest that the application of much putty is required during assembly in order to get good joints. There are also suggestions that some of the larger parts are warped.
Anyone any direct experience of inspecting and handling the kit before I decide to buy it?.
I don’t wish to have to buy shares in Tamiya putty if its really that bad.
