do airfix a/c’s have raised panel lines?
Most do, some don’t. Which kit are you looking at ?

I’m looking for a 1/72 harrier around$5 or $6
Older ones, yes, newer ones, no.
yay!
It’s always interesting watching the Airfix staff putting up their display stand at model shows…watching them struggle getting the parts fo fit…then when the stand is almost finished they discover a part is missing…ohhh! i am in a cynical mood tonite ! [}:)]
If you’re looking at Airfix’s 1/72 Harrier, it has raised panel lines. Still, it’s a pretty decent kit. Just be prepared to spend some time on the air intakes.
[:0] Oops! I have both a GR5 & GR7! Oh well! I got em off a Model-Expo sale for cheap so I can’t really complain.[8D] Been quite a few years since I built one anyway so at least I won’t butcher mess up a expensive kit! [:p] Calvin
Let us not forget there are Hasa & Tamiya kits out there with raised panel lines…
…just at four times the price of the Airfix kit!

Don’t be under the illusion that all Airfix kits are bad quality, and as Karl says, they are a damn sight cheaper than Hasegawa,

Well, I have had to walk the ends of the earth to get a sabre kit… I needed a Sabre kit for my JASDF collection, and ended up winning a 100 year old Hasegawa Sabre kit about 4 months ago… Pretty rough as old kits go. And knowing that I was going to need another one for my Aussie collection, I looked for one when I went back to Aus two weeks ago… I went to a toy store that wanted me to pay A$19 for a Revel kit. But ended up getting the Airfix Sabre kit for A$12 at a hobby store… Just put it together today, and I must say that Airfix makes Italeri plastic look really really strong!.. It actually doesnt have raised panel lines, so I must be thankfull. Its a very simple kit. But it will definately do up ok, so I am not complaining… Its the 1/72 version…
