Airfix replacemant parts?

Hi.

I have the new Airfix 1/24 Typhoon and have one of the cracked canopies.

I emailed Airfix for a replacement but was topl no stock is available.

Does airfix ship parts that have defects to countries outside of the UK?

I am in South Africa and was wondering if it is worth the effort and cost (?) to get a replacement canopy.

Maybe a dip in future will seal the crack?

I know this kit was started some time ago by someone on this forum and hasn’t been updated for some time and he has the same problem. They knew about it and shipped him the corrected part pretty fast. Try looking for that thread and see what he did to get his.
