Just come back from the IPMS(UK) nationals aka Scalemodelworld at Telford . Viewed the test shots for the 1/24th scale Mosquito FB VI . Swore blind I’d never get one , but it looks very tempting ,cockpit detail is excellent . B2 Canberra and B57 in 1/48 were also on display , plus test shots of Canberra B(I)8 and PR9 in 1/72 . Also on display was a 1/48 Vulcan B2 which the Airfix rep said they hope to have ready by June next year . Well, if you put legs on it , it’ll make a great coffee table. I’ve got my own place , and noone to argue with , but where the @#%* do you store all this great new large scale stuff ?
Excellent! Thanks for the update. Any words on whether the 1/48 TSR.2 is still on track?
I’d love to have one of those big Vulcans, but I would have to build a hangar just for that one model.

Current word is that the 1/48 TSR.2 is due in January, so expect it March-April next year. Sprue test shots show it to be pretty much just the 1/72 kit scaled up. Let’s hope they’ll take the opportunity to fettle the fit some, especially around the wings and the cockpit.
MRP will be a not-unreasonable £27.99. If I didn’t still have three of the 1/72 kits unbuilt in the stash, I might be tempted.
Cheers,
Chris.
The older we all get the larger the model scales become!!! hehe
Good Day one and all,
Got a missive from eModels in the UK quoting an Xmas/January release for the 1:48 TSR2, the missive also contained these … [8D]

I guess we will get them when they arrive, if Airfix have any brains it’ll be in time to load up all those Xmas stockings, the ones that take large rectangular boxes [:D]
Best Wishes to you all.
