Airfix Do-217E info needed...

I want to buy this kit… I want to know if it is out of production or it’s still available. I supose it is a very simple kit, but I want to try it… I want to buy the Airmodel Do-217K-1 conversion set too… Anyone have info about this conversion set?.. what come “in the box”… I want to build a Do-217K-1 with these two items, but I couldn’t find info about them… any info will be appreciated. Thanks in advance

What scale? Italeri just released a 217E in 1/72. Revell makes a 1/72 217K-1 that is fairly common on ebay.

Sorry… I forgot the scale… It’s 1/72… I want to know if the Arfix kit in currently in production… I don’t wanna buy out of production kits… they’re a little difficult to find, and I’ve found the Airfix kit for sale in Great Models Webstore…

I believe the Airfix kits is still the 60’s era kit, I have one but wouldn’t really recommend it, pretty dated kit. The Italeri while not state of the art is a much nicer kit.

I have airfix kit from the original first run. It is marked as a Do 217-E2. When I saw your post I open up the box and inside is the conversion kit to make it into a Do 217 K-1. It only contains two huge parts moulded in clear plastic and instructions on where to cut the fusalage If you are interested I would be willing to part with it. I have no intention of building it. The Mikester is correct thought it is quiet crude compared to todays standard but with some work would defently be an unusual kit. I have never seen one built.
