Airfix did it again...

…just received my hard-to-find 1/72, new-tool A-4 Skyhawk. Wow, is it cherry! Airfix is begining to crank out some real jewels in 72nd—starting w/ their new-tool Harriers, Swordfish, and now this gem.

Their new offerings remind me a lot of the quality Revell of Germany is also doing in 72nd. Keep 'em coming, guys!

Yes, these new-tool kits of theirs are quite nice- I did up a 1/72 Bf110C just to see what the fuss was about concerning the red box offerings and was really pleasantly surprised.

They’ve come a long way since I was a kid.

haha, Manny,a warning

those kits are like potato chips, once you try one, you are going to be hooked on them

at the low price, and the large (and growing) number of decal options,a collection of just Airfix A-4B will fill a shelf or two

Yup, Airfix’s latest kits are very sweet and priced to sell! The perfect combination.

I think it is a great thing that Hornby really revived Airfix. Their new kits have a good price/quality ratio.
