Is there anybody out there who knows where I might be able to find either a 1/12th or 54mm scale Bengal Lancer as produced by Airfix (or any other company)?

try the airfix websites if not go to ur local hobby shop ask them to order it for u
Good luck finding this one Dai. According to the collectable site that I just looked at, this kit was last released in 1976 and is getting very hard to find. I haven’t seen it on any store shelves in at least 15 years. Probably your best bet would be to try E-bay or other collectable sales sites but expect to pay a premium price.

Mmmmm It looks as though I might have to sculpt my own. As a matter of fact that seem to be a good idea. Snaffle an Indian servant from my wife, she has a 1/12th dolls house, and get to work.
Incedently my nearest Hobby Shop of any size is over 60 miles away.
