Just got the lastest newsletter from www.hannants.co.uk…Look what we’re getting in 2005

It’s about time! The TSR.2 is one of my all time favorite planes. Thanks for the heads up.
Thanks for that info fiasco![tup]I can’t wait for this to appear!
Only 40 years late!!! Might even be tempted myself
Nice!
about time too !!! , going to get one of those
I will get two, one to do in prototype colours and one in “what if” RAAF colours as I feel that if this plane came into service, the RAAF would have purchased them over the F-111’s!
Well done Airfix!
cheers
MikeJ
I think I might to buy and build one of these for my dad, as he loved that aircraft.
Karl
Oh yeah!
Pant pant, drool drool
gotta get one gotta get one
Oh, I should mention I like the TSR.2 too! ![]()
I just wonder what they would have named the type had it hit service.
Will be getting one of those!Having been a fan for years & seeing it at RAF Cosford museum( i have photos somewhere) i will be doing it in 17f sqn colours (my old sqn) as a “what if…”
merv
Sign me up for one too.Too long have we waited
for a kit of this gorgoues plane.
About time!!! Thanks for stealing my thunder madmike!!! Possible name in RAAF service would be Boomer.( Alternative RAAF/RAN History.)
hi ya I knew it was coming a month before . but kept mum and I’ve pre ordered five .it was a fine aircraft and if it could leave a T4 lightning behind with only after burner on one engine .the mind boggles to how fast it really was dont forget the lightning had both burners full on
And about time too! Make it a good one Airfix!
Hiya folks, (and mossie maiden ) where could you have ever got that info from Joanna [;)](snicker snicker ) welcome to finescale babes.
Greg
now we can do a group build of "failed " super planes. you know, stuff like the TSR.2, XB-70, the Avro Arrow, birds like that. whadda ya think?
BTW, Upnorth, you wouldn’t happen to be in Winnnipeg would you?
Good Idea for the group build, I always wanted a model of a Myaschishev “Bounder” bomber so I could make a diorama of a pair of Avro Arrows intercepting it over the Pole. Oh, well… Maybe one day…
TSR.2 is still one of my all time favorites, I’d be tempted to do it in 1990 Gulf War markings, with some sort of special nose art marking the type’s impending retirement from service after many good years (sort of like the Buccaneers) I was thinking I’d make the mods for it to be doing the work of the Canberra PR.9s at the time, so that the Canberras could have been retired back in the 70s some time.
I’m afraid I’m not in Winnipeg. Edmonton is my home town, but I’m in Brno in the Czech Republic for at least the next year or two.
Sounds like we could have reached critical mass for a TSR.2 GB…! LOL
I’d give it a go.
Make a change to WWII machines.
Karl
I was hoping for one in 1/48th! Oh well, beggars can’t be choosers.
