i have decided to build a tribute out of respect for the engineer Cpl Jonathan Bayliss after the tragic crash that happend in the UK 20th march 2018 i will be building it in blue with the new tail fin colours

today got the cockpit done its basic but at 1/72 its small and tbh your not going to see much once canopy is on , the 2 halfs are glued together once dry will start on the nose seams

today got the wings and bits on , fitted canopy , masked it painted canopy black them primed it all in Alclad grey microfiller/primer , then i mixed Alclad royal blue with Alclad white sprayed it all and a coat of Alclad aqua gloss :slight_smile:

for the first time i cut masking tape as a paint mask with a knife never tried before , painted the tail fin and put on the side decal to make sure i lined up the mask ok , took 5 hrs to do one side lol onto the other side next :slight_smile:
