I tried my best with this one. i really did, but in the end frustration won out and i just finished it off as i desk display model (you know the really shiny ones)

Thanks, it was all brush painted too. in real life you can see brush marks. it annoys me. also i cant get the base to look right. i put the 23 sqn logo on with future. but it still looks wrong, any ideas what else i could do to make it look better?

Maybe a spray on clear finish to even it out?
Also, Would you be able to scan copies of the plans?

looks nice. if you’ve got a problem with brush strokes,try rubbing a piece of clean denim (or similar) along the model; a member of the club i’m in told me this one and it works well. good luck with the rest of your builds-s.
Certainly, i was going to biff them, but if you want a hard copy i can post them to you, pm me and well sort it out. also, i dont spray, i just brush. i painted it with klear (future) and it looks good, its the base thats really annoying me. im thinking of using a different material to print the sqn badge on
