My condolences about your mom, I lost mine in 2008, so I empathize.

Great job on the Stuka, I have been eyeing this kit for some time now, it’s nice to see there aren’t major fit problems or anything. I really like the new tool Airfix kits, I have done the 109-E7 Trop in 1/48 and the Bf-110 E2-Trop, the Wildcat and the Hawker Typhoon in 1/72. The decals have been a pain on all of them with the exception of the Typhoon. They weren’t great, but they weren’t as brittle at least.

Thanks banthafodder. The new Airfix kits are really good. The only issue I had with this Stuka were the two parts that make up the chin air scoop. Had to do a lot of filling and sanding to get that seam smoothed out.

FINAL UPDATE:
Got the brass rod inserted and painted for the pitot tube. Now this bird is officially complete!
