What a nice kit this is! I must say sorry to any 109 experts if I have any inaccuracies here as I tend to build for enjoyment only these days and this was a fun build. Hope you enjoy it too.

There’s always one…You must have better eyes than me cos I didn’t spray a direction to it…not intentionally anyway…oh well [8-)]

So you made that prop blur? Please, please describe how you did it! That looks better than the commercial versions I’ve seen for sale (kinda looked like spinning lumberjack saws to me…) I’m sure that I’m not the only one who’d be interested in learning your technique. Thanks!
Yeah…and wouldn’t the “non-slip gelb” on the tips show up as a gelb blur?

In regards to the prop blur it’s quite straight forward really.
Just find some nice thin clear plastic, this example comes from some pastry packaging from work.
Measure and cut out.
The gaps in the spinner need to be filled and I find spare sprue works fine. Then spray a thin amount of your favourite paint to simulate the blades. You can dip it into future first but I didn’t this time.
I don’t like the look of those PE prop blur AM thingys too

I had my doubts about the Airfix E3 but it seems like a real nice kit without the Japanese prices, did you do any mods or is it out of the box ?? I think the Emils are the best versions of the 109, my opinion, so everyone keep 'em coming. Great job again.

Mic53 - yeah it’s all OOB except for the prop(obviously) and the need to turn a weighted tail wheel into a non-weighted one if you pose in flight. Airfix provide the optional raised main gear plates.

Cheers [:)] It’s quite a snug fit anyway but I put a bit of superglue on to make sure.
Very nicely done, finish looks great & I love that prop blur! Looking at it head-on disupts the fuselage behind as well, it actually photographs quite well. [Y]
