As a 43131C/A43151C, I have 4 1/2 years on the F-102A, at Soesterberg AB, Netherlands and Tyndall AFB Florida. As a 43171C, two years on the F-111F, at Mountain ( Goat ) Home AFB Idaho. As a 43151C, 43171C, 43199, twenty years were spent on the F-4 series of aircraft. I worked on the RF-4C, F-4C/D/E&G. From Crew Chief to AMU NCOIC, to Squadron Maintenance Superindendent. The F-4 is my favorite aircraft. I have plenty of scars and war stories to prove it.

I have also assisted on many other aircraft. F-5A/E, F-84F, F-100C/D/F, F-101A/B/F, F-104G, F-105D/F, F-106A/B, F-4B/F/J, RF-4E, F-8D/E, F-14A, T-33A, T-38A, T-39A, A-4E/F, RA-5C, A-6E, A-7E, B-57?, B-66?, O-1, O-2, OV-10, U-2, Hawker Hunter, BAe Buccaneer, Saab Draken, Saab Viggen, Sepecat Jaguar, and I even had a hand it rebuilding a P-40E.

Does refueling count? If so a whole buncha Cessnas, Beeches, Pipers, Mooneys, plus assorted jets. Actually worked on, (as a volunteer at the museum at McClellan AFB, Ca) T-33, F-104A, F-80B,EC-121K, F-84F,F-101B and a Link Trainer.

Jforce, do you ever get down to Majors Field, Texas? Thats where L-3 is at and they do a lot of the work on the RC-135 Rivet Joint aircraft. If you do I’m at the FBO every weekend. Stop by and say hello.

I was an Navy "aircrew survival tech."or PR for short(parachute rigger) I worked on T-28 Trojans at NAS Corpus Christi back in the 80’s.I also worked on F-4phantoms,F/A-18’s,F-14tomcats and the A-6intruder.
