Aircraft we've worked on!

Hi guys,
What aircraft have you worked on?
I done my training on Jet Provost,lLghtnings & Bucceneers & served my time on Tornado GR 1"s at RAF Bruggen in the 90’s.
What did you serve on?
Merv

1 year, AGM-65, Atlas F, ICBM. Lousy flight record. Only a few ever made their first flight, none of them ever did a second.
12 years, SR-71, fastest, highest, unstoppable, titanium wonder bird.
5 years, various ARRS helos, H-1, H-3 & H-53.

worked on = none

guarded = a whole bunch

Army MOS 67N3F. Worked on UH-1B, C, D, H and M models, OH-23G’s, OH-6A’s, OH-58A’s and a U-6A. Never worked on the OH-13 but was assigned as a crew chief on one and I was familiar with the O-1 and the U-8. Never had the chance, but was qualified to work on AH-1’s.

As a 462X0 (Weapons Mechanic), I worked on the F-100D, F-4C, F-4D, F-4E, F-4F, F-111A, and F-16 Lawn Darts. The Rhino was my favoraite, and I’ve got the scars to prove it!

Cessna 152,172 and 182 Piper aerostar, Metroliner, Hansa jet, Convair 640, Lockheed L188 Electra,L-1011, Falcon 20, DC-8, DC-9, B727, B747and Lear 35.

Spent 5 years as a USMC 6324. Avionics technician, H-1 aircraft.
Worked on everything with a wire on it in the AH-1W Supercobra and UH-1N Huey.

4 years 6323 in Marines…Avionics tech on CH-53E. Also worked on Harriers, and CH-46E’s, but only for a couple months as a joint training project. Now I work on all types of General Aviation Aircraft including All Beechcraft, Cessnas, Pipers, Mooneys, Homebuilts, Yaks, Texans, a few mustangs, various fire bombers including, DC-4. P-2, Bronco…ummmm oh yeah a Skyraider…a Vertol H-21 (the last one flying)…actually a lot more than that, but can’t remember off the top of my head.

5 years as a 427x1(corrosion control spec.) USAF.
Most of the time was spent on RF-4Cs, along with a RF-101, RF-84, and RB-66 gate gaurds. And a single F-4D training bird, from Hawaii. And then there were the C-130s, while I was in the reserve.

High Speed, Low drag,
Leon.

I’ve worked on the 152, 172, and 172RG. Mostly just preflight stuff, but a few times helping the maintenance guys. I got to fly a T-37 one time…that was the wildest, highest, fastest roller coaster I have ever been on… simulated ACM’s 12000 ft over Texas was a blast to a college freshman. [:D]

I enlisted in the Air Force as a 431X3, became a 457X2, then a 2A5X1… all while working the C-130 as a crew chief. The numbers may have changed, but my job did not. Specific variants I have worked on: HC-130H,N,P; AC-130H, EC-130E, H. While I was assigned to Guam, worked C-5s and C-141s, in addition to the oddball Herk.
Not to forget, whilst assigned to Transient Alert: F-4, F-5, T-37, T-38, A-10, F-15, F-16. One of the neatest things I got to see while assigned to Trans Alert was witnessing one of the last cross country trips by a F-106 in the Guard. And being the ‘spot marker’ for the Thunderbirds upon arrival at Kirtland for the airshow… geez, lots of memories…

Now I recruit for folks like you that have worked military birds - Fixed wing and rotary wing.

Other
Almost all the Cessna, Piper, Beechcraft and Mooney single engined models and quite a few of their light twins. Even worked on a Piaggio amphibian once - strange bird, twin engined, gull winged pusher. We were all very glad when it disappeared over the horizen.
Worked on very few jets, although I have vivid memories of beating on the thrust reversal unit of an FAA Sabreliner that had jammed in the open position with a five pound hammer. Wish I had a picture of the look on the pilots face.

I worked on UTVA-66; UTVA-75; little bit on MiG-21; my most memorable was seting up gear; guns; and control panel on P-47 for Aviation Museum in Belgrade. And did few jumps out of this two; AN-26; AN-2
