Here at Maddog Manufacturing, I’ve been busy with a couple new aircraft to add to the inventory. So far there are only three and a helicopter, with a couple more in the pipeline. I included the helicopter here since it was easier to keep all these projects together in one Thread. When it’s done, I’ll be posting my Ka-60 in the Helicopter Forum.
First off, this is the cockpit to my Australian F-4 Phantom. After this pic was taken, I then painted it and am waiting to put the instrument panel decals in:
I also have the air intakes installed and the main wings assembled, but I didn’t get shots of them yet.
For a fun, quick build, I started the Matchbox Ford Trimotor as well. Here it is almost fully assembled:
Since these were taken, I’ve done some more detail painting to it. Now I’m going to apply the decals to this one before installing the engines.
Next, I’ve also been working on a real bear of a kit: Maquette’s 1/72 scale Ka-60 helicopter! I won’t go into any more details about how bad this kit is, but I made it to the 15th round and finally got paint on this bad boy!
And for those who may not remember or have known, I am still working on my 1/48th scale P-51 B, another reject from the Distressed Kit Auction. Hey, it was free; otherwise I would never have done it! I just got new decals for this bird which I’m still debating as to whether I’ll use them or try to find some other more appealing ones. Until then, this one is temporarily on hold, except for some detail painting I will be doing.
That covers everything so far. Comments are welcome.
